Buyer | Product Manager
The Hawley Company is seeking an analytical, detail minded and organized individual to join our purchasing team. This key position includes analyzing sales history, placing purchase orders with assigned vendors and maintaining excellent vendor relations. If you have bicycle product knowledge and a strong background in purchasing, inventory management and vendor relations, we would like to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will have 2 yrs purchasing and/or inventory management experience in the bicycle industry or with demonstrated bicycle product knowledge. Candidate should also have experience with replenishment software, monitoring supplier lead times and developing pricing strategies, as well as, excellent research skills, attention to detail and follow-through. We are looking for someone with strong bicycle product knowledge, flexibility to travel and a passion for cycling.

Service Center Assistant
Our expanding Service Center needs someone with a wide range of bicycle technical and
mechanical knowledge to assist with our growing service center work load. This individual will
be responsible for performing repair and warranty service on returned parts and other duties
as assigned.
Candidate should have 1 year or more of mechanical experience in the bicycle, motorcycle
or a related industry. Suspension knowledge would be a plus. Excellent customer service and
problem solving skills and attention to detail are required. If you enjoy wrenching and are great at
it, our service center is for you. Hours for the position are Monday–Friday, 8:30–5:30.

Director of Purchasing
The Hawley Company is seeking a Director of Purchasing to manage a team of Product Managers and lead the day to day purchasing department activities. This position involves managing key purchasing programs and charting/planning the direction for the department to support the long-term growth of the company. This hands-on, results oriented position also includes ensuring excellent relationships with both suppliers and sales team, maximizing inventory turns, as well as project management including product creations, analyzing sales history, forecasting and pricing strategies. Some domestic and international travel may be required.
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree and 7 years purchasing experience, including significant experience successfully managing EOQs, turnover, lead times, etc. Experience with regression analysis and a passion for cycling and/or fitness are a plus. Must demonstrate experience in negotiating contracts with vendors to a win-win relationship and have a record of initiative, decisive decision making and an ability to lead and motivate to deliver results. The right candidate will be a strong team player and leader and have superior verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical, math and organizational skills. Advanced Excel skills, proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of enterprise software applications are also required.

Service Center Mechanic
The Hawley Company is seeking a mechanic with expert suspension knowledge for our state of the art Service Center. This individual will be responsible for processing service orders and customer returns, performing repair service on returned parts and ordering and maintaining inventory of repair parts. If you enjoy wrenching, as well as vendor and customer relations, and have experience in suspension, we would love to hear from you.
Qualified individual will have 2 years experience as a mechanic or service manager demonstrating advanced technical and mechanical knowledge. Candidate should have expert suspension knowledge with experience in servicing suspension forks and shocks. Candidate should also be familiar with hydraulic disc brake systems and Campangnolo shifter re-builds. Other brands to be familiar with include, but are not limited to, SRAM, Avid, Hayes, Cane Creek, Shimano, RockShox, and Manitou. Excellent customer service and problem solving skills and attention to detail are required. PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheet skills, are a plus.
